Cezanne brushes are larger as Van Gogh brushes, but Cezanne are wider. 

Henri Edmon Cross style

 Although Van Gogh had big brushes in his paintings, the impressionist painter Henri Edmon Cross had small brushes dots in his painting

In this close up we can see Cross's style, it is a color combination that it's given shadows, textures, volume, and pleasure.

Van Gogh's brushes

 This Van Gogh painting shows his brush style. It's represented the field with a big brush with different greens, blues, whites, and yellows. The background has lighter color, and the brush style is the same, big brush, but lees paint.

 

In this picture is clear how was Van Gogh brush style. His big brushes have direction, some are arcs, some have 45 degrees, others are horizontal, and others are circulars. Those are given the sensation of movement, or the win is blogging.

When I see a painting, I examinate why it likes me. And I began to see how it was painted. How is each brush style. The best example to see a brush detail is the painter Vincent Van Gogh.
His brushes have a long dimension which create the form.
